Thin Film Transistor (TFT thin film field effect transistor) means that each liquid crystal pixel on the liquid crystal display is driven by a thin film transistor integrated behind it. So that the screen information can be displayed at high speed, high brightness and high contrast. TFT-LCD (thin film transistor liquid crystal display) is one of the most liquid crystal displays.
The basic structure of OLED is a thin and transparent indium tin oxide (ITO) with semiconductor properties, connected to the positive electrode of electricity, plus another metal cathode, wrapped into a sandwich structure. The entire structural layer includes: hole transport layer (HTL), light-emitting layer (EL) and electron transport layer (ETL). When the power is supplied to the appropriate voltage, the positive hole and the cathode charge will combine in the light-emitting layer to produce light, and produce red, green and blue RGB primary colors according to different formulas, forming basic colors. The characteristic of OLED is that it emits light by itself, unlike TFT LCD, which requires backlight, so the visibility and brightness are high. Secondly, the voltage requirement is low and the power saving efficiency is high. It has fast response, light weight, thin thickness, simple structure and low cost. Although OLED, which has more advanced technology, will replace LCDs such as TFT in the future, organic light-emitting display technology still has defects such as short service life and difficulty in enlarging the screen.
